1. Welcome to Villages Connect
By creating an account or using Villages Connect ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Villages Connect is a social and friendship platform for residents and approved guests of The Villages, Florida. We are not affiliated with The Villages Holding Company.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use Villages Connect. Most members are adults aged 55+. By signing up, you certify that all information you provide is true and accurate.
3. Community Standards
You agree to treat fellow members with respect and kindness. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, or inappropriate content of any kind are strictly prohibited and will result in account termination. We reserve the right to remove content and ban users at our discretion.
4. Your Profile
You are responsible for your profile content. Profile photos must be of you and recent. False profiles, catfishing, or misrepresenting yourself is not permitted. We may verify profiles to maintain trust.
5. Safety
When meeting someone new, always meet in public places. Tell a friend or family member where you are going. Use the in-app Safety Check-In feature. Villages Connect is not responsible for interactions between members.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Villages Connect Plus is a paid subscription billed monthly ($6.99) or annually ($59). Free trials auto-renew unless canceled before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime in Settings.
7. Limitation of Liability
Villages Connect is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about meeting partners, friendships, or any outcome from using the app. You use the app at your own risk.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
